Autumn Carnation Encore Azalea

Derived from the Southern Indica and Kurume, this encore hybrid is native to Louisiana. The encores' are the most sun tolerant of the azalea family. The Carnation Encore is part of the medium encore azalea class that is whispery with semi-double blooms twice a year. Delicately pink with dark magenta speckles, these beauties make excellent combination designs and work well independently as accents, foundations, or edge ornaments. The Carnation Encore is compact, known to attract butterflies, and very little pruning is required, deeming this plant a low maintenance variety. *Deer May Browse* Photo courtesy of our friends at Encore Azaleas.
