Confederate Star Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides)
Star Jasmine, or what some of us call Confederate Jasmine, is known for its tiny white, star-shaped flowers, which appear sometime between April and July depending on location. Avoid eastern exposures in the winter months. Subject to winter freeze (to the ground). It can grow in the heat, but its roots prefer to stay cool and moist. Can be grown as a ground-cover.
