Fort Hill Creeping Phlox | Phlox subulata 'Fort Hill'
Delicate, fragrant pink-purple flowers bloom from spring through summer atop a dense, spreading, mat-forming habit. Young stems are green and become woody with age. This plant is resistant to powdery mildew. While rabbits may browse it, it is generally not palatable to deer. Excellent for walkways, cascading over retaining walls, and planting on slopes. It attracts bees, is drought tolerant, and works well in containers, rock gardens, edging, foundations, and along rock walls. Planting in full sun will encourage more abundant blooms. * Deadhead after blooming to prevent seedlings from reverting to less desirable colors. *Deer Resistant* Attracts: Butterflies & other pollinators Ornamental Characteristics Category Perennial ground cover Berries Environmental Characteristics
