Purple Diamond Loropetalum - Dwarf Fringe Flower Shrub

Purple Diamond is typical of all loropetalums, except that it is dwarf in form. Its cascading branches are covered in dark purple-red leaves and spider-like dark magenta flowers. Blooms are heavy in spring, of course, and also appear occasionally in summer and again in fall. Purple Diamond is a recent introduction and is the first loropetalum with leaves that are completely purple on both top and underside of leaves. * Deer Resistant * Photos courtesy of Toms Creek Farm & Nursery in Denton, NC (336) 857-2131 Ornamental Characteristics Category Fringe Flowering Shrub Prized for Foliage Yes Environmental Characteristics
