Pink Pearl Azalea - Kurume Hybrid Evergreen Shrub

Native to the island of Kyushu, Japan, Kurume's are a cold-hardy azalea that made their way to the U.S. in the early 20th century (1917). The Kurume hybrids have multiplied since and now consist of several hundred varieties. The Pink Pearl is over 100 years old and known for its flowers turning white as they age. The recommended fertilizer for azaleas is the slow release Osmocote.
