Cedrus atlantica 'Glauca' - Blue Atlas Cedar
Blue Atlas Cedar is a large evergreen tree that achieves an average maximum height of 40-60' with a spread of 40' (though we have seen them get as wide as they are tall because it tends to 'flat-top' with maturity, retaining its lower branches). It is pyramidal in form with needle-like foliage of an unusual light, silvery-bluish green color. A moderate grower, Blue Atlas will endure sandy, clay soils, but not poorly drained sites. Is considered to be drought tolerant; casts a deep shade. Ornamental Characteristics Category Tree Seasonal foliage Color Flowering Season Flower Color Environmental Characteristics
