Fortune's Tea Olive (Osmanthus x fortunei) - B&B & Container
Fortune's Osmanthus, or Fortune's Tea Olive, is a hybrid of Osmanthus fragrans and Osmanthus heterophyllus. This is a beautiful broadleaf evergreen. It has dark-green, lustrous, spiny leaves. Excellent for Screening. By the time they reach mature size, usually these plants have been limbed up to look like trees. If not, they are huge, multi-stemmed shrubs. Fragrant, tiny, white flowers appear in the Autumn. *Deer Resistant & Drought Tolerant* Photos courtesy of Toms Creek Nursery in Denton, NC 336-857-2131 Ornamental Characteristics Category Large Shrub or Small Tree Environmental Characteristics
